BAC Blast, a U19 Girls team, is looking to add players

While many players are graduating, BAC Blast maintains a strong core of talented team members who are looking to continue competing together at a high level. We plan to add several players for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 year to this hard-working, high-quality group of young women.

The team has won the top division of NCSL five of its past seven seasons in that league, and likely will be returning to NCSL D1 in the fall. We’ve also won multiple high-level tournaments across the region and were a finalist in this year’s Presidents Cup (lost in PKs). Over the years we’ve built a team that loves to play together and has seen much success, despite a comparatively low-key, low-cost approach. 

The club fee for the full year is $575, new uniforms are $155, and there will be a cost for tournament entry fees as well.

Rafat Majdalawieh will be returning to coaching to lead the team. A lifelong player and enthusiast (go Manchester United and Real Madrid!), he is the father of twin daughters who play with BAC and Woodson High School. Founding Blast Coach Roger Friedman will provide his guidance and input. Rafat is looking forward to coaching a great set of players and building on Coach Roger’s contributions to the team.

Tryouts will be held from 7:30 to 9 pm on May 13 and 15, and at a time TBD on Saturday, May 18. All sessions will be held on the Lake Braddock Secondary School side turf.
