BAC Blue Thunder, U19 Boys, completed their ten year run as a team by participating in the Ralph Downey Memorial Tournament in Virginia Beach over the Memorial Day weekend. Winning three games in the high school division put Blue Thunder in the championship against the VA Rush. BAC Blue Thunder played with only one sub (guest player Charlie from brother team, Cyclones) due to absences and injuries during earlier game. Torrential downpours from Tropical Storm Bonnie did not stop BAC Blue Thunder, coached by Larry Park, from winning the championship game. This was the perfect ending to a decade long beautiful soccer experience. Now the boys head on to the newest adventures of college. GO THUNDER
